Ammonia
Ammonia Partial Oxidation
Owing to high hydrogen density and easy of transportation and storage, ammonia is one of promising energy(hydrogen) carriers. Since many countries (Saudi Arabia, Australia, New Zealand etc.) are building facilities to export renewable energy by liquid ammonia, Ammonia is expected to restructure the energy industry in the near future
Partial Oxidation enable ammonia decomposition without external heat source. Ammonia decompose over 550℃ without catalyst reaction and over 350℃ with catalysts. Partial Oxidation generate heat by oxidation of support or active metal and let temperature reach the decomposition temperature.
With Partial Oxidation, ammonia decomposition system can be operated much more efficiently. Because it doesn’t need external heat source and device.
